Designed by VOLKL for the avid touring skier, the RISE ABOVE 88 W is an adventurous, alpine ski that is lightweight.

Light and powerful, this model benefits from an advanced technology allowing it to have an alpine behavior on hard snow. The 88mm skate and progressive rocker with a vase tip provide great stability in cutting, but also great flotation in deep snow. The classic medium camber increases ski/snow contact to promote glide. With a progressive heel, it allows to secure the support and facilitate the pivot.

Usable on all terrains and in all snow conditions, this ski is a good compromise between a light and skiable ski and will accompany you on your next trek.

• Tip rocker : camber in the center with a front rocker that facilitates lift in deep snow

The Polartec® Alpha® insulation delivers consistent warmth and is extremely breathable during intense physical activity. The insulation’s open construction method protects you by keeping out cold air reliably yet at the same time allowing excess body heat to escape. The outer fabric is wind- and water-resistant, as well as abrasion-resistant. That means you can wear this as your outer layer on a climb on most days. Stretch inserts ensure you get ideal freedom of movement. The jacket can be stowed small and compact in its own hood and can find a spot in any pack with its minimal packsize. Two front zip pockets offer space to carry small items such as a phone or snacks. Reflectivity ensures increased visibility at dawn, dusk and in the dark.
