The SURGE ST from Spark R&D is a quality binding, built with incredible attention to detail and without compromise.

Featuring the same great features as the Surge ST Pro bindings, including T1 technology, Tesla lock, solid base plate, rigid spoiler and responsive Pillow Line straps , this standard version is designed with other materials. This binding features a Surge Asym Rip ‘N’ Flip spoiler with plenty of fiberglass filler for a stiff ride and maximum response ; while the smaller, soft profile Pillow Line ankle strap provides a perfect fit and a smooth ride. New ST Touring brackets are added to form rings that last four times longer than their brass predecessors.

Finally, every part of this model is made in-house, except for a few screws and buckles.

Note: Spark Pucks or Spark Canted Pucks not included, sold separately on the site or included on some splitboards.

• Pillow Line Straps: Ultra-durable, comfortable, waterproof, one-piece molded construction and made 100% in-house. The strap cushions are thin and flexible for a comfortable, snug fit, while the thicker ribs are kept away from the shoe and provide rigidity for a particularly responsive ride.
• Surge Asym Rip ‘N’ Flip Highbacks: New spoiler with a large amount of fiberglass fill for a stiff ride and maximum response. They now have individual left and right spoilers for better ergonomics. The top of the spoiler is flatter, allowing for more lateral mobility. All Rip ‘N’ Flip spoilers feature a tool-less forward tilt adjuster (FLAD) that allows for easy switching between touring and riding modes
• ST Touring Mounts: Incorporate the best features of aluminum and thermoplastics. The custom plastic blend is overmolded onto and through the holes in the aluminum base, forming bushings that last four times longer than their brass counterparts
• Whammy Bar Wedge: A single wedge is integrated into the base plate with a side lever for easy position changes on slopes. Allows you to easily switch between neutral, low (12), high (18) and vice versa while riding
• Tesla click lock: no pins, no cables, no handling factor. Ibex crampon attachment claws integrated into the hiking brackets allow for quick and easy installation and removal
• T1 Heel: accommodates wedge in positions 12 and 18
