Description
SKI TRAB ORTLES 22
Top of the range model of the Touring range , theORTLES de Ski Trab is a new high performance ski tour ing destination for the best skiers.
Ready for big expeditions in the mountains, this ski has a high-end construction that offers a light, ractif and powerful model. This ski is designed with a core of 14 layers and a progressive flex, which makes it easy to handle and to grip on all types of snow. It adds Hi-Connect and No Shock technologies for vibration control which, in case of shock, ensures safe and precise turns. In addition, this model is distinguished by its thin (3k) micro-mesh carbon cage that wraps around the ski, which offers a torsional stiffness clearly superior (up to 46%) to a classic ski.
This ski will take hikers further and further away.
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS :
Construction :
- Radius Control: the radius, as well as the flex, help to lead the skier in a turn. An innovative correlation between flex and radius makes it easier to enter the turn and improve control and exit from the turn.
- Control Progressive Flex: the construction and multilayer technology Ski Trab allows a very soft flex at the ends of the ski, making it easy to use and easy to handle, adapting effortlessly to all types of snow. In its center, the ski is firmer, offering good torsional stiffness and excellent edge control, ensuring a good grip on hard snow and ice. Towards the rear of the ski, the flex is more accentuated, so that during the loading phase, the radius of the ski works more to improve direction and control. The support has been moved forward to improve the attitude of the ski.
- No Shock, Active Vibration Control: a strip of special lastomer is placed lengthwise between the edges and the inner structure of the ski. At the tip and the heel, the lastomre covers the entire surface of the ski. Its addition creates a damping effect that makes the ski more stable and more linear in response to external factors.
- Hi-Connect: in order to keep the ski plan in time, we have designed a bridge that connects the two edges internally, so that it is almost impossible to align. This special construction means that the edges stay where they should be, even after multiple impacts with hard surfaces such as rocks.
- Attivo Shock Absorber: the polymer structural components are integrated lengthwise on the upper sides of the skis. Their function is to absorb vibrations, providing the skis with increased stability. They also play an important role in protecting the structure by preventing the skis from being damaged by blows or cuts that could easily damage the edges and open the internal structure.
- Hibox Torsion Control: thin micro-mesh carbon cage (3k) that wraps around the ski for a much higher torsional stiffness (up to 46%). This type of treatment aims to give benefits only to the anti-torsion structure without compromising the bending values of the skis.
