The Vibram Backcountry outsole with Vibram Icetrek and Artic Grip provides high quality traction, while the lightweight EVA Cut and Buff midsole offers the best flex for the least weight. Climbing higher and higher sometimes meansusing semi-automatic crampons, which snap on easily to the molded heel. As for the front of the boot, a sturdy toe guard has been developed to maximize the life of the boot.

For a comfortable ride with your splitboard, the Hike’N’Ride mode offers a soft flex on the way up and multiple flex levels to efficiently descend even the steepest slopes. Finally, when you’re out exploring in winter, there’s one thing you want: warm feet. The reflective Therminator Shield underfoot lining keeps the cold at bay, and the Thermacell Cloud 8 pre-molded liner wraps the foot comfortably and perfectly. The precise and fast lacing combined with the internal ankle support keep the foot in position very effectively without pressure points.
